# Information Technology Manager

Objectice: Demonstrate and explain basic skill in operating a computer

1. Pass or have passed the Information Technology badge(Junior) 
2. Be able to connect all cables of the computer correctly and switch the computer on. 
3. Be able to identify and know the functions of all the parts of the computer(external as well as internal) 
4. Know how to connect a computer to the internet navigate to a Web site given by the examiner. 
5. Be able to search information on a subject given by the examiner from the internet. 
6. Be able to create a presentation ( MS power point or similar application) on a subject given by the examiner. This should contain text, images as well as animations. 
7. Be able to install and uninstall a software. 
8. Be able to prect a file/folder using a password. 
9. Have an understanding of malicious soft ware, viruses, spy ware, worms etc. and understand the dangers of these programmes and know how to protect a computer from them. 
10. Know how to use the help function for assistance when trouble shooting the computer.
11. Know how to use the help function with application of soft ware. 
12. Know how to assemble a computer correctly.
