# Typist

Objective: - Be able to show a fairly good skill in two languages other than the Scout’s own.

1. Be able to type at a speed of 30 w\.p.m. in English or 20w\.p.m. in Sinhala or Tamil 
2. Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word or a similar application
3. Type accurately the following 
   1. A normal business letter to a merchant 
   2. A statement of accounts ( one A4 sheet)
   3. The minutes of a meeting (one A4 sheet) 

This could be done on a type writer or on a computer.
